Just a short walk from our guesthouse, and you can start to explore this wonderful natural environment. To help you enjoy your holiday in Scena, we provide you with hiking maps, the MeranCard or GuestCard and advice about trips and excursions. We'll also be happy to prepare some tasty snacks to put in your backpack. You can explore the Hirzer or Merano 2000 hiking areas, go out on Mount Scena, or follow paths beside the irrigation canals.
Culture
There are excellent bus services to the spa town of Merano and the Botanical garden at Castel Trauttmansdorff, which you absolutely must visit during your stay. The town of Scena, with its mausoleum and castle, is easy to reach on foot. For summer bathing, Scena has a scenic outdoor pool with a separate area for nudists.
There are also some lovely paths you can follow between Scena and the famous spa town of Merano. Here you can explore the historic Tappeiner Trail, the Mamming provincial museum and the romantic princely Castle, which is definitely worth a visit. Explore, venture in, and prepare to be amazed.
